After reading "1st to Die", I had to dive right into the second book in the Women's Murder Club series, "2nd Chance" by James Patterson.
I cannot say enough good things about this series thus far, each book has been a real page turner! Crime fiction at its best, and centering around kick-ass females. What more could I ask for?
In this book the ladies are shocked when a sniper shoots at choir kids coming out of a church. Miraculously only one child was hit, and killed, despite dozens of shots being fired. They soon find out that the child who died, may not have been a random unlucky one.
As more and more people are being targeted and killed, the ladies wonder if these are racially driven murders or if the sniper is targeting cops.
The women come together to put an end to the senseless killings. Can they make it out of this one unscathed? It seems unlikely once they find themselves the targets.
