bed a fellow vampire and plans to leave Sookie high and dry until his evil actions catch up with him.
Vampire Bill, and Sookies former lover now finds himself being tortured and within days of his 2nd death. I can't say I feel too sorry for the schmuck. In any case, Sookie wants to save him and blah blah blah. (Team Eric!!)
Sookie winds up spending some time with a hot Werewolf by the name of Alcide (Al-see). He owes Eric a favor and he is repaying his debt by escorting Sookie to the underground supe hangout Club Dead. Here, Sookie hopes to read the mind of someone in the group to find out who has their claws into Bill. Little does she know she will be staked for her efforts.
Here comes Eric to save the day. Gotta love that guy, such a keeper! Sookie now finds herself crushing on Eric, Alcide as well as holding a torch for that schmuck Bill.
Non-stop action make this book a winner!
In other news..

Check out the side-by-side of the TrueBlood promo poster and the Jennifer's Body promo poster. You would think that Jennifer's Body wouldn't use such a popular image in their campaign. The TrueBlood image is absolutely everwhere! Perhaps they are trying to profit off the popularity of the show.
