This has been a favorite of mine thus far in the series! As you might be able to tell from the cover art, this book features Eric as the primary man in Sookies life.
Sookie has come across Eric wandering down the road without any idea who he is. She is asked to protect him at her house until the rest of the Vamps can put a stop to the forces that have taken away his memory.
A pleasant side effect to the loss of memory, is the loss of attitude. Eric is a super sweet and kind gentleman without his memory. What follows are some super racy scenes between Sookie and Eric that she knows will come to an end sooner or later, and Eric will remember nothing.
Sookie gets pulled into a supernatural war and almost doesn't make it out alive, in fact some people she knows don't manage to make it out alive.
Like I said before, Team Eric! I loved this book, Bill annoys me and I am glad to have Eric be a more important part of Sookies life. Check out TrueBlood on HBO on Sunday nights to get your between the books fill of the Southern Vampire Mysteries.
