For everyone else out there, if you haven't gotten around to reading this book yet, stop what you are doing, and go buy it. "Jesus Christ, Shepard of Judea" as Sookie would say, "What are you waiting for?"

The series has been so successful that it has a cult following, and has had a T.V. show based of of the novels by the name of TrueBlood (you may have heard of it) on HBO Sunday Nights.

The first season of TrueBlood was based off of the first book for the most part. So far the second season seems to be based mostly off of the second book. The show is wildly popular, and doesn't seem to be going anywhere soon! Set your TiVo. You can also find all the episodes of the show on GreatStuffTv, but don't say I sent you there!
