Liyana of Liyana Land tweeted wondering if the people who design book covers actually read the book before they design the cover. This reminded me of a blog I came across a few months ago that is written by a book jacket design artist.
Henry Sene Yee Designs writes about his process for designing book covers, his inspiration and even his thoughts on the book. Check out the site, its interesting!

I can say of the books I've worked on, I read like part of one only. And only had the text provided for 2 more out of maybe 10 total.
great post. i loved the cover of the ones on each end (and I enjoyed those books as well).
