When Becca moves into her brother and best friend's apartment while waiting for her condo and studio in the brownstone to be ready, the last thing she expects is to have to share it with her best friend's brother Rich. She's loathed him since the day she met him at their siblings' engagement party. Rich doesn't necessarily feel the same way but he definitely does enjoy his unique ability to get under her skin. However, Rich realizes he needs to play nice once he's dumped by his girlfriend for not being suitable boyfriend material. The only problem with that is, Rich needs to get back his ex for a double date with the Dean after the debacle surrounding his departure at his last Ivy League teaching job. He needs to prove how dedicated to his career he is, and apparently his personal life plays into it. Rich barters with Becca to help to domesticate him. She finally agrees against her better judgment, and the two find themselves getting along much better than anticipated, and their chemistry is undeniable.

I breezed through this book in hours, it was such a quick fun story. I've shied away from out and out romance for a few years ( I went through a Harlequin obsession in 8th and 9th grade. I know, I know), but the title and the cover just looked so fun! side note: I received a galley from Danielle @ Sourcebooks and it looks like the cover has changed unless there was a UK cover. I was not disappointed. The characters were vivid and fun, and the banter was playful and witty. There were a couple times things were mentioned that I wish there was more backstory on and lo and behold there is! This is the third installment in Robin Kaye's Domestic Gods series and I CANNOT WAIT to get my hands on the first two books Romeo, Romeo and Too Hot to Handle.
If you're in the mood for a light breezy read with a happy ending, but enough twists and turns to make it interesting, don't miss this book.
