I almost put this book down, 80 pages from the ending. I was so put off by the developments in the plot, that it was almost unbearable to continue. I hardly ever fail to complete a novel, and thus I pushed forward hoping for the upswing that never came.

Wow, really? And I was so excited about this one ... Will wait to see what others think too, but thanks for the honest review. :)
damn, I bought this book it sounded so promising, eh I'm still gonna read it I spent money on it. Nice honest review though!
Well I didn't like Undiscovered Gyrl or Shiver either, and LOADS of people enjoyed those books.
I actually read it and loved it!!! It takes a kooky turn for sure but i was so into the characters and the romance i really enjoyed it. it's gonig to be a series i think so there were a lot of points left at cliffhangers so be prepared for that!
I have no doubt it will be a series, and i hear a movie is in the works starring Selena Gomez.
I like the "poetry" in the book, I just think the plot could have been better. And I was really put off by all the sexual references, it wasn't at all what I expected.
Glad you enjoyed it though!
