Another Vamp book, this one courtesy of Anna @ Hachette!

Recently vamped Sarah is fighting her nightwalker's fierce attraction to Gideon, a vampire hunter who is blackmailing her to turn him into a vampire to fight the demon's hellfire wracking him with pain. Gideon's made her break up with Thierry, her savior sire who she has fallen madly in love with. Sarah has three days before she has to sire Gideon, who has also promised to give her the grimoire of the witch who cursed her with the nightwalker she's battling not to become. Thierry is adamant that she not sire Gideon as he is evil, but she knows she has no choice. Nevertheless, Thierry brings in protection, calling on the Red Devil who hasn't been seen for over a century. Between angst ridden teenage wizards channeling demons, Sarah's attraction to Gideon, her love for Thierry, his wife of 600 years who refuses to give him an annulment, and the nightwalker struggling to overtake her, this novel is filled with action and drama.

The formula in this vampire story is fresh and fun. There is a difference between a vampire and a nightwalker (which pretty much encompasses vampires in most other stories I've read) and vampires are pretty common and not evil at all.
The characters are fun, and the overall story is spunky and fast paced. I tore through this book in about 4 hours. The only complaint I have is that it's the finale to a five book series. I will definitely be picking these up! Fun fact: The YA book I've been coveting for months Demon Princess: Reign or Shine is written by Ms. Rowen as well.
