Christine Coppa has been with her boyfriend, A, for a few months and is debating whether or not she wants to break up with him when she finds out that she's pregnant. A is on board initially. Ironically, A had posed a similar scenario to her in the beginning weeks of their relationship, citing a friend of his as an example. All is well, they don't know the status of "them", but they do know they're having a baby and are inextricably tied together now. Until A calls her one morning and says it's over. All of it. He's not ready to be a father and so just like that, he's not. Soon, he's packing up his life in New York City and heading back home to Indiana. And so that's it. With one decision not of her own volition, she's a single mom going it alone. Except, really, she's got a wider support system than most.
