My Take
Remember how I said I was a reading burnout? Well consider the spell broken! This books sucked me in from the first page and had me hooked through the very last word. I have my calendar marked for the next installment in the series in August of this year. I highly recommend YA fantasy genre fans to read this book, but I think anyone would enjoy it! The story is really creative, and I found myself marveling at the inventiveness of the characters, what made them each unique and the way that they fit into the story. The action was well paced, exciting, and kept the story moving at a good pace. I have to also mention that there are two cute boys trying to win the affections of our leading lady, who can resist that? Read it!
