My take
This little ebook was every bit as exciting as the first book in the series The Iron King. We get a lot more insight into the Ash and Meghan relationship, their dynamic really evolves in this novella. I am assuming that the story will pick up in The Iron Daughter where this book left off, so if you don't read this book you won't be lost at all, but you will have missed out a great deal on the evolving relationship between Ash and Meghan.
